Taylor McCarrey is a trained therapist with over a decade of experience working with children as young as 4 and adults of all ages. He has worked in a variety of settings across the country, including hospitals, state agencies, community mental health centers, residential centers, in-home, and private practice. Taylor integrates his work within a variety of cultural contexts and ways of being. Taylor is a firm believer in the power of the individual to overcome, regardless of where they might find themselves in any given moment. He believes that there is strength to be found and created, and that any of us can both actualize and discover that strength.
Wherever you find yourself, it can be easy to feel alone, confused, overwhelmed, and under-prepared. The decision to start seeing a therapist can be the first step to taking back control of the life you’re living, either because of, or in spite of the challenges you are facing.
